Hello All,

The final instalment of my Kano Natsuo's hammer.

Fitted onto a white oak handle, gidgee wedge and a light oil.

That very nice! Well done sir!
Now I need to add this to my list of stuff that I must do...

Any consideration to making the Tanage? I bought some W1, though it has been suggested to try HSS as it holds its edge better.

BTW, It is sweltering in August in this hemisphere; just absolutely miserable! no work in the agarge if I can avoid it!

HSS does maybe hold its edge better,but not as good an edge.

I use larger HSS for roughing out in steel but you need a fine edge (W1) when things get more precise.
